My Digital Studio Christmas Page

This is my latest creation using My Digital Studio. This page is included with one of the newest downloads for My Digital Studio, Christmas Cocoa II Digital Kit (#120880). This page is one of the templates that come in the kit. All I did was add my pictures, move a couple ornaments, enlarge the pictures a little bit, and add some journaling. That's it! This new download comes with papers, embellishments, and other project templates. You get all of this for only $9.95. I got this download free by completing the certification program Stampin' Up! offered to demonstrators. Not only did I get certified for My Digital Studio, I also got some free stuff! Can't beat that!

Remember when I said that My Digital Studio isn't just for scrapbooking? Well, I have used it for something else last week, and you've been looking at it for a few days now. I made my blog header above, and the background border on each side of my blog using My Digital Studio. It was so much fun, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out! I hope you like it, too.

2010 Calendar Class

I'm SO sorry that I haven't posted for over a week! You've probably been wondering if I was still alive! I had Thanksgiving at our new house, and I had A LOT to do to get this house in good enough shape to have people over. The last couple of days I've been sick. I'm still a little weak, but I'm feeling better.

I was getting bored just sitting around, so I decided to make this calendar this afternoon. This is the calendar that will be made at my 2010 Calendar class on January 9. To find out more about this class, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR.

I got this idea from the Stampin' Up! Regionals I attended back in September. I still can't believe all of the ideas I've used from that Regional, and there are still more I want to use. I love being a demonstrator! Yes, I can come up with my own stuff, but it helps out so much to have Stampin' Up! help me with ideas. I've learned so much since becoming a demonstrator! With all of the ideas I've learned, it helps me broaden my creativity when coming up with my own creations. If you think this sounds good to you, you may want to become a demonstrator, too! If so, please CONTACT ME. I'd be happy to help you in any way I can!

My First Build-A-Bear Project

I've had these dies for awhile now, but haven't been able to make anything with them. I know Halloween is over, but I just had to use my Kooky Spooky Die. I really liked making these pages. The bears are a lot of fun to make! They're so cute, too. I can't wait to make more things with my Build-A-Bear dies.

These pages are going to be made at my upcoming Scrap In A Flash! camp this Saturday morning. The Scrap In A Flash! didn't happen last month, so we'll be doing the pages that would have been made then. I'm sure that everyone still has Halloween pictures to scrap, so these pages will come in handy. There are two more layouts that will be made at this camp. There will be a Fall one, and a Christmas one. To find out more about this camp, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR. If you would like to see a larger image of the pages, just click on the pictures.

Delightful Decorations Card

I'm finally posting the last card that we made at my Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack last Saturday. It's a very fast and simple card to make. Yes, I got the idea from another card at Regionals. I've had a lot of events the past few weeks, and it helps so much to get ready for them all by using ideas I've seen. I did change the colors and a couple little things, though, to make it my own. The "Joy" ornament was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and punched out with the ornament punch. I then put it on the card with dimensionals.

Poinsettia Ornament Card

I finally got to use my new Petals-a-Plenty Impressions Folder. This is now my favorite embossing folder! It's hard to tell in the picture, but I sponged Frost White shimmer paint over the white flowered card stock. Very pretty in real life! I made the white dots on the ornament with a white gel pen.

This is another card idea that I got from going to the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Cincinnati last September. I got a lot of great ideas there. I love being a demonstrator! I've learned so much. I love making money doing what I love to do...STAMP! If this is something that you are interested in doing, please CONTACT ME. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Regionals in Cincinnati last September, and this was the set we received free for attending. Not only is this set great for cards, it's great for scrapbook pages as well. I've already used it for a scrapbook page, and I'll post it soon.

Third Christmas Stamp-A-Stack Card

Here is the third card design that will be made at my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack this Saturday morning. To find out more, go to my Events Calendar.

I used a new stamp set from the Holiday Mini called "Holy Family." This stamp looks gorgeous colored in, but I think it looks good this way, too. I stamped the image with Chocolate Chip ink and sponged the same ink around the edges of the card stock. I also stamped the star on separately.

I also used paper from the Christmas Cocoa DSP pack from the mini. The paper I used on this card is flocked! The white ornate design is sooo soft and fuzzy. I really like it! There is another paper design in the pack that's flocked as well. To see picture of the stamp set and paper, scroll down to the bottom of this post.

Scenic Season

I've been wanting this stamp set ever since I laid eyes on it, and I finally got it! I got this idea from someone else, but I can't remember who. I wish I would have written it down so I could give her credit. If I figure it out, I will.

This is another card we'll be doing at my Christmas Card SAS II. This card was so easy. The greeting and the trees are all on one stamp. After stamping the trees and greeting with Night of Navy ink, I punched a circle out with the 1-1/4" circle punch from a post-it note, making sure that I got some of the adhesive from the post-it note. I put the post-it note circle where I wanted the moon, and then I sponged the sky with Brocade Blue ink. After sponging, I removed the circle. I love how the bird silhouette is in the moon. It's hard to tell in the picture, but I also put some Frost White Shimmer paint on the snowy hills with a sponge. A super fast card with great results!

Stamps: Scenic Season

Ink: Night of Navy & Brocade Blue Classic pads

Shimmery Snowflakes

This was the first card I made using Stampin' Up!'s Shimmery Paint that's in the Holiday Mini. I used Champagne Mist shimmer paint on this one. I can't believe how fast this dries! When I originally bought it, I thought I would have to let it air dry for awhile, or try to dry it with my heat tool. When I used it, it dried instantly! I was amazed!

I've decided to have this be one of the cards that will be made at my upcoming Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack II on Saturday, Novemer 7. To find out more about this event, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR.

I applied the shimmer paint directly to the stamp using a sponge dauber. Then, all I did was stamp it on. That's it! The closeup shows the shimmer a little better, but it still doesn't do it justice. It's so shimmery in real life. I really love this stuff!
