Last Day of Sale-A-Bration!

It's hard to believe, but today is the last day you can get free Sale-A-Bration products! If you were putting off ordering, you'll need to act fast. Before midnight tonight, you'll have to place at least a $50 order (before shipping & tax) online to get that Sale-A-Bration item you want. You get to pick a free Sale-a-Bration product for every $50 you spend. To order online, CLICK HERE. Once at my website, click "Shop Now" in the upper right corner.

I also want to let you know that there is a new video on my website. I think it's been on there for awhile, but I haven't posted it on my blog yet. There are two projects featured in this video, and they both feature Stampin' Up! Decor Elements. The project pictured below is of a shower curtain, and the other is a candle bowl. Click on the picture below to go to the video.

Occasions Mini - Soft Summer

I finally got to do some stamping yesterday and today! I've been sick for a week, and just haven't been up to stamping any. If you know me, that means I must have felt pretty bad not to stamp for a week! It felt so good to do it again!

The Occasions 2009 Mini Catalog begins this Wednesday! My local swap group agreed to pick one stamp set from the mini and make 4 different cards using that set, and I chose Soft Summer (p. 3 in the mini). It's a pretty 2-Step stamp set. I'm really having fun with it.

Below, is one of the cards I came up with. I also used the Scallop Oval punch that comes in the Occasions mini, too. I just love scallops, don't you? I'm hoping to come up with a scrapbook page with this set, too. As a matter of fact, I need to get going on making more pages. I haven't posted a scrapbook page for awhile now. I promise fellow scrappers, I'll get some posted as soon as I can!

Supplies: Soft Summer (Mini) set; Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, & Whisper White card stock; Bella Rose designer series paper; Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, & Chocolate Chip Classic Pads; Blender Pens, Oval Scallop Punch (Mini), & Large Oval Punch

An Occasions Mini Sneak Peak

This card was made by fellow demonstrator, Susan Smith. She used the Occasion mini set, Wagon Full of Fun. This set is sooo cute! The Occasions Mini Catalog sales period doesn't start until April 1st, but you can get this set now! There are so many cute images with this set. To see the other stamps in this set, and to see the other Occasions Mini stamps sets that you can purchase now, CLICK HERE.

Birthday Wishes

This card was made by one of my card swapping buddies and fellow demonstrator, Mandy Holtzhausen. She joined the digital swap, too, so we were in two swaps together this time! No, she didn't stamp all of those hearts, but she did stamp the one that is the focal point of the card. The background piece with all of the hearts is from the Sale-A-Bration designer series paper, Delicate Dots. The stamped heart is from the Sale-A-Bration set, Polka Dot Punches. I love how Stampin' Up! coordinates so many of their products. It just makes the projects we make so beautiful!

New Folded Card

These beautiful cards were made by Theresa Hill. As you can see, she used a different fold than usual for her cards. The card on the top shows how she folded it. I love the fold and the way it looks with the designer papers. I also like the flowers from the Sale-A-Bration set, Botanical Blooms, outlined in white. Wonderful!

Probably My Last SAB Creation

Since there are only a few more days left of Sale-A-Bration (SAB), this will probably be the last SAB card I make. This is the last of the three cards that the mothers and daughters could make at the retreat I was at last weekend. I CASEd this one from someone on Splitcoaststampers, but I can't remember who. I've got to start writing them down!

This card was super fast to make. I used the 1-3/8" Square punch to punch out the designer paper, and the 5-Petal Flower punch to punch out the flower and leaves. The SAB products that I used were the Polka Dot Punches set & Delicate Dots designer paper.

Supplies: Polka Dot Punches (SAB) & Wonderful Favorites sets; Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, & Whisper White card stock; Delicate Dots designer paper (SAB), So Saffron, Certainly Celery, & Basic Gray Classic ink pads; 5-Petal Flower punch & 1-3/8" Square Punch

Birthday Cupcakes

There are so many things you can make with this set! This is a level one hostess set called Darling Dots. I used this same set on a 12" x 12" layout, too. This is another card that was made at the mother/daughter retreat I was a vendor at last weekend. I think it was the favorite of the daughters in the group. The stamps are so easy to ink up with markers because of the spaces in between each section of the images. If you just have to have this adorable set, you'll need to host a workshop. Hostesses are the only ones that can earn it...and they get it free when they do! Contact me to set a date today!

Supplies: Darling Dots (level one hostess) & Happy Everything Sets; Close to Cocoa, Pink Passion, Kiwi Kiss, & Whisper White card stock; Close to Cocoa and Pink Passions Classic ink pads and Stampin' Write Markers, Scallop Edge Punch, Silver Brads, Crafters' Tool Kit, 1-1/4" Square Punch, & Scallop Square Punch

A Break from Sale-A-Bration Cards

I love this set! It's called Branch Out (p. 100). This set can be used all year long. It's a set that can be used for both men and women. There are a total of 8 stamps, and they include stamps of butterflies, a birdhouse, a little bird, boots, and snowflakes. This is the first thing I've made with it, and I can't wait to make many more things with it! It's become one of my favorites!

I was a vendor at a mother/daughter retreat this past weekend, and this was one of the cards that they made (minus the background stamp-En Francais - p. 129). They had a lot of fun using this set, and a few of them changed their cards up a little bit. I loved seeing what they came up with. Some even decorated their envelopes using the different stamps in the set. They really looked great!

Supplies: Branch Out, En Francais BG, & Fundamental Phrases Sets, Kraft, Old Olive, & Certainly Celery card stock; Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, & Basic Black Classic ink pads; Eyelet Border Punch, Ribbon Bundle (SAB), Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Silver Brads, & 1/16" Hand-Held Circle Punch

Last Week of Sale-A-Bration!

Happy Monday! I'm sorry that I've missed a few days posting. I had my first vendor fair/workshop last Friday & Saturday. It was a ladies' retreat. There were around 11 vendors and 7 of us held two workshops on Saturday. There were over 100 ladies/daughters there, and I had over 20 ladies sign-up for my workshops. Not too bad since I was competing with 6 other vendors! The workshops were also optional for the ladies. It was a beautiful day, and the event was in Nashville, IN. I'm sure some of them decided to walk around Nashville during the workshop times instead. All in all, it was a good experience.

I was hoping to schedule my weekend posts before I left, but I wasn't able to. So, I'm posting 3 cards that I received in the digital swap I was in today. I can't believe it, but this is the last week of Sale-A-Bration! If you're wanting to get one or more of the Sale-A-Bration products offered, you'll need to order very soon! You can either order online (click "Shop Now" once on my website), or you can contact me and give me your order. I'll be happy to place it for you. If you don't have a Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog yet, you may want to do the online ordering route. When you do, you'll also receive a free copy of the catalog along with your free Sale-A-Bration stuff!

Here are the cards:

Made by Megan
SAB Products-Congrats

Made by Cheri
SAB Product - Botanical Blooms

Made by Sue
SAB Product - Polka Dot Punches

In case you don't know, you can choose a free Sale-A-Bration product for every $50 you spend (before shipping & tax). If you haven't seen them yet, CLICK HERE. Sale-A-Bration ends Tuesday, March 31.

SAB Pocket Card

This pocket card was made by demonstrator, Michelle. I love pocket cards, and really like it when they're made with scallop circles! This one is so cute! I love how she punched holes in each scallop and then threaded ribbon through them. Wonderful idea! The Sale-A-Bration item she used was the Delicate Dots Designer Paper.

SAB Digital Swap #12

Here is another project made with Polka Dot Punches. Today's project is made by demonstrator, Nyla Kelley. Isn't this a cute Easter basket? I love how she used the Eyelet Border Punch on the handle. Her little Easter eggs are adorable, too!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I had to post this card on St. Patrick's Day. It's the 11th project from the digital swap I was in. I posted one similar to this one made by another demonstrator, but this one is a little different. It was made by Monica. She used the popular Polka Dot Punches set and Delicate Dots Designer Paper Sale-A-Bration products. Very cute!

Becoming a Demonsrator is Even Easier!

Stampin' Up! has just announced a Three Easy Payment Plan for anyone who signs up to become a demonstrator by April 30th! If you sign up this month, you'll even get the starter kit @ 15% off AND your choice of any stamp set in the catalog!

If you want to take advantage of the Three Easy Payment Plan AND get the discount too, you'll need to have the paperwork filled out and mailed by Wednesday, March 25. The paperwork has to reach the Stampin' Up! offices in Utah by March 31, so you need to mail by the 25th to get it there on time. If you sign up in April, you'll need to have the paperwork filled out and mailed by Saturday, April 25.

When you sign-up to use the Three Easy Payment Plan, you have to submit your paperwork the old fashioned way. The Payment Plan doesn't work if you sign up online from my website. You can still sign-up online, but you'll have to pay for the whole kit at once.

Here is how the payments breakdown:

Sale-A-Bration Starter Kit Price (March 13-31, 2009)

Payment 1 (charged at time kit is entered) -- $56.34 (+ tax)
Payment 2 (charged around April 15th) -- $56.34
Payment 3 (charged around May 15th) - $56.34

Regular Starter Kit Price (April 1 - 30, 2009)

Payment 1 (charged at time kit is entered) -- $66.34 (+ tax)
Payment 2 (charged around May 15th) -- $66.34
Payment 3 (charged around June 15th) -- $66.34

The sales tax on the kit will be paid in full with the initial payment. If you decide to also purchase the Stampin' Memories Add-On Kit, you'll have to pay the extra $50 with your initial payment as well. The second and third payments will be the same as above.

If you are interested in joining the Stampin' Up! family and my little group, or if you have any questions, please contact me.

SAB Digital Swap #10

This cute 6" x 6" page was made by Shelley Nanney. The Sale-A-Bration products used are the Polka Dot Punches Set & Delicate Dots Designer Paper. The thing I love most about this stamp set is how easy it is to use. I've made and seen so many cute projects made with this set. When you own the 4 punches along with the set, you can get your projects done in a flash!

SAB Digital Swap Sample #9

This card was made by fellow demonstrator, Deb Newman. The Sale-A-Bration products used on this card are the Delicate Dots designer paper and the Ribbon Bundle. Deb also used the Just Buzzin' By set (p. 57) and the SU! Movers & Shapers Curly Label Bigz XL die (p. 105). I really like how she tied the ribbon to one side of the card by putting it through the Curly Label cut-out. I also love how she used the Eyelet Border Punch on the top layer of the designer paper. Very nice touch!

SAB Digital Swap Sample #8

Today's card was made by fellow demonstrator, Theresa Hill. Theresa used 3 different Sale-A-Bration products on this card. She used the Polka Dot Punches set, Delicate Dots Designer Paper, & Congratulations set. It really turned out great!

SAB Digital Swap Sample #7

Another card using the Top Note Bigz Die. As you can see, demonstrators LOVE this die...me included! This beautiful card was made by Sue Duffy. I love how she used the Delicate Dots SAB designer paper. The quilt look with the Top Note looks wonderful! The light colors of this card also make me long for Spring! I miss the warm temperatures we had a couple days ago!

SAB Digital Swap Sample #6

This beautiful card was made by fellow demonstrator, Karen Haden. I love everything about this card. The Sale-A-Bration products used are Delicate Dots designer paper, Ribbon Bundle, and Yummy set. She used the Top Note die that coordinates perfectly with the Yummy set. She also used the SU! Flower Burst Emosslit die with the designer paper. Doesn't that die make beautiful embossed flowers! I love it!

Yummy Pillow Box

I've had my Pillow Box die for awhile, but this is the first time I've used it. It makes a very quick and cut box for a couple small candy bars. This Sale-A-Bration (SAB) set, Yummy, is perfect for little treat bags and gift bags, too. Add some paper from the Delicate Dots SAB designer paper and the So Saffron grosgrain ribbon from the SAB Ribbon Bundle, and you've got a cute little container for your treats!

The pillow box is the last of the 5 projects being made at my Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp this Friday, March 13, @ 6:30 p.m. The fee for the 5 projects is $15. There's still time to sign-up if you would like to attend.

The sign-up deadline is Thursday @ 6 p.m. All of the projects are pictured above on the left. To see a larger image, just click on the picture.

Botanical Blooms Bookmark

I saw someone else make a bookmark like this, and just had to make one myself. I can't remember her name, but she was on Splitcoaststampers. I really like these type of bookmarks. I used the Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware, Pretties Kit, Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Crystal Effects, and the Botanical Blooms SAB set. The flowers were stamped on Very Vanilla card stock, using Rose Red, Regal Rose, Always Artichoke, & Mellow Moss Classic ink pads.

This bookmark is going to be made at my Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp this Friday, March 13, @ 6:30 p.m. There will be 5 projects made at this camp, and the fee is $15. If you would like to attend, please let me know by this Thursday @ 6 p.m.

The picture on the right shows how the bookmark looks in a book. Two of the projects being made have already been posted, and the other two will be posted in the next two days. To see 2 projects already posted, click the links below:

Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die

Here is a beautiful card sample made by Susan Smith. She used the new Manhattan Flower Textured Flower Impressions Die. This die is pictured on p. 202 in the Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog. It wasn't available when the catalog came out, but it is now! One of the great things about this die is that it's the size of a normal card front (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). Doesn't it look elegant on the Shimmery White card stock? A very quick and easy card. I love it when quick cards look so beautiful!

Later on today, I'll post a picture of another project being made at my Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp this Friday @ 6:30 p.m. I hope you can come back and see it.

Another Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp Card

Here is another card that will be made at my Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp, Friday, March 13, @ 6:30 p.m. Go to my events calendar to find out more. This is also the other card I submitted to the digital swap I'm in. To see another card being made at my Sale-A-Bration stamp camp, click here.

I used 2 Sale-A-Bration products with this card, too. I used the stamp set, Botanical Blooms, and the Ribbon Bundle. This card really makes you think of Spring. Since it's supposed to get up to around 60 degrees today here in Indiana, I thought a Spring-type card was in order. It's supposed to be warm all weekend! It's supposed to rain some, but at least it will be warmer! Of course, it's supposed to cool off again by next week. At least I don't think it's supposed to be as cold as it has been. I'm so SICK of winter!

Supplies: Botanical Blooms (SAB) set; Baja Breeze, Pretty In Pink, Close to Cocoa, & Naturals White card stock; Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Pretty In Pink, Pink Pirouette, & Close to Cocoa Classic Ink Pads, Ribbon Bundle-Certainly Celery poly-twill ribbon (SAB), Filigree Designer Brads & Soft Subtles Brads.

Daily Sale-A-Bration Project #5!

This wonderful little Top Note Bag was made by Cheri. Isn't it gorgeous?! She not only used the Top Note die, but she also used the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies die with the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I Texturz Plates. I love how she used the Texturz Plates on the butterfly! So beautiful!

The Sale-A-Bration products Cheri used were the Ribbon Bundle and the stamp set, Yummy. I've got all three dies/plates for my Big Shot and the Sale-A-Bration products, so I'll have to make one of these very soon!

Sizzix has come out with two wonderful pop-up dies. They make pop-up cards so easy! One is the Three-Tier 3-D Cake Bigz die that is pictured above. The other one is the Ball 3-D Bigz die. Project For My Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp Next Week

This is one of the cards that I submitted for the digital swap I'm in. I'm also going to have this be one of the projects made at my upcoming Sale-A-Bration camp on Friday, March 13 @ 6:30 p.m. To find out more about this camp, please go to my events calendar.

I love making cards with my Top Note Die! They're so easy, and look so good! This Sale-A-Bration set, Polka Dot Punches, is also a very easy set to own, especially when you have the coordinating punches. I also used the Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper, Delicate Dots.

Remember, if you would like to get this stamp set or designer paper, you must place a $50 order (before shipping & sales tax) by March 31st to get it free. If you want both, you need to either place a $100 order or place two separate $50 orders by March 31st. You can also earn them free by hosting a qualifying workshop before March 31st. After March 31st, the set and designer paper will be gone forever! You can place your order online or contact me to place your order or book your workshop.

Supplies: Polka Dot Punches (SAB) and Warm Words sets; Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, & Certainly Celery card stock and Classic Ink Pads; Whisper White card stock, Delicate Dots designer series paper (SAB); 5/16" Jumbo Brads, Word Window Punch, 5-Petal Punch, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, & Top Note Bigz Die

A Little Card Made With Free Paper & Ribbon!

This is a card made by a fellow demonstrator, Monica. Since I just received a picture of this one, I don't know the exact size. I'm pretty sure it's a 3" x 3" card. The stamp set, Sweet Stems (p. 99 in catty), is not a Sale-A-Bration set, but the designer paper and the ribbon are. The designer paper is called Delicate Dots, and the So Saffron (yellow) grosgrain ribbon is included in the Ribbon Bundle which also has Certainly Celery (green) poly-twill ribbon. If you need a cute little card quick, this one would be a great one to make!

SAB St. Patrick's Day Card

This month, I'll be sharing some cards made my some wonderful demonstrators that are under one of my uplines, Cheri Stojkovich. Cheri came up with a great idea. She asked if a group of us would be interested in a digital swap. We would need to send her pictures of 2 new and original projects using Sale-A-Bration products, and she would pass them on to those that joined the swap. Joining would mean that we'd all have enough Sale-A-Bration projects to share on our blogs and/or newsletters every day in March, which is the last month of Sale-A-Bration! Of course, I couldn't pass it up! Here is today's sample:

This one was made by Sue. I love how she used the heart in the Polka Dot Punches set to make a shamrock. I also love how she used a Circle Designer Brad for the middle of the shamrock. I think anyone would love to get this card for St. Patrick's Day!

If you would like to get the Polka Dot Punches set so you can make this card, you'll need to place an order of $50 (before shipping & tax) by March 31, 2009. You can order online, or contact me.
