Another birthday card for my Occasions Mini Stamp-A-Stack! I used the Create A Cupcake set & Build A Cupcake Punch (both on p. 22 in the Occasions Mini) on this card. I stamped the little bow on the cupcake paper holder before I ran it through the Paper Crimper (p. 198). The rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory.

Easter Blossoms Birthday Card

Today's card is another one for my Occasions Mini Stamp-A-Stack (SAS). This card may be super simple, but it really looks elegant, too. The dogwood branch from the Easter Blossoms set (p. 17 in the Occasions Mini) was stamped with Blushing Bride ink. No coloring done at all, and it still looks so pretty. The ornate image on the Crumb Cake piece is also from the Easter Blossoms set. The "Happy Birthday" stamp is from the Bring on the Cake set (p. 20-21 in Occasions Mini). I punched the two right corners of the Naturals Ivory with the Ticket Corner Punch (p. 200), and added two Basic Pearl Jewels (p. 188). Super fast and easy!

Stamps: Easter Blossoms & Bring on the Cake

Ink:
Blushing Bride & Crumb Cake Classic ink pads

Paper:
Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, & Naturals Ivory card stock

Accessories:
Blushing Bride 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch, & Basic Pearls Jewels

Hope Card

I really like this new set, Strength & Hope. It's a set that will be in the 2011 Summer Mini Catalog that begins on May 1st. I actually used all of the stamps in the set on this card. Not only is this stamp set beautiful, it benefits Breast Cancer Research. For each set sold during May 1st - August 31, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I'm sure a lot of money will be raised.

I also used some new designer paper. It's called Paisley Petals DSP, and it's going to be available in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog coming out July 1st. I do have good news, though. Stampin' Up! is making it available to purchase during the month of April. There is also a stamp set, Four Frames, that will be offered for April. I hope to have a project to show you using this set very soon. When you place a $20 (before shipping & tax) order in April, you can order the stamp set and the paper. If you host a $350 workshop (before shipping & tax) during April, you get both the stamp set and the paper free!

One more thing. I used this week's MojoMonday sketch for this card. If you would like to see what others did with it, just click on the above picture of the MojoMonday sketch. Stamps: Strength & Hope (Sneak Peek)

Ink:
Cherry Cobbler & Not Quite Navy Classic ink pads; Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, & Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers.

Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, & Naturals White card stock, Paisley Petals DSP (April Promo)

A Bright Bold Blossom Card

I thought it was supposed to be Spring now? We did have wonderful weather at the beginning of the week, but now, the temperature 32 degrees! My two youngest are on Spring Break next week, and it's supposed to be in the 40s all week with lows in the 20s and 30s. Oh well, I'm sure they'll still have a good week. I know some of you are having even colder weather, so I probably better stop complaining! LOL

Today's card is another card for my Occasions Mini Stamp-a-Stack in a few weeks. All of the cards are quick and easy, since everyone will be making 4 of each one. As you can see, this one is extremely easy. The little squares on the left were punched out with the 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Square Punches (p. 202). The flowers in the Bold Blossoms set (p. 31 in the Occasions Mini), are so quick and easy to stamp as well. I colored the flower centers in with a Pumpkin Pie marker, added some ribbon, stamped the greeting, and Viola, the card was done!

Stamps: Bold Blossoms (Mini)

Ink: Old Olive, So Saffron, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, & Basic Black Classic ink pads; Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker

Paper: Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, & Whisper White card stock; Play Date DSP

Accessories: Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, 1-1/4" Square Punch, & 1-3/8" Square Punch

My First Plane & Simple Card

I really like this set! It's such a great masculine set. I CASEd this card, too. It was CASEd from Darlene Adamo's (SCS name is darleenstamps) card. You can see her card HERE.

I changed it up a little bit, but not much. The stamp set is from the Occasions Mini, and it's called Plane & Simple (p. 40). I stamped the airplane on Sahara Sand card stock. After stamping it, I used the Color Spritzer Tool (p. 195) and an Early Espresso marker to get the spattered look on it. I sprayed the Cherry Cobbler photo corners that I punched out with the Photo Corners Punch (p. 202), too, before attaching to the card. The brad I used is from the Metallic Brads set (p. 187).

This card is another one that will be made at my Occasions Mini Stamp-A-Stack next month. Date has been changed to Friday, April 15.

Stamps: Plane & Simple

Ink:
Early Espresso Classic ink pad & Stampin' Write marker

Paper:
Early Espresso, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, & Sahara Sand card stock

Accessories:
Color Spritzer Tool, Photo Corners Punch, & Metallic Brads

Thinking of You - Nature Walk

I've been working on the cards that will be made at my Occasions Mini Stamp-A-Stack next month, and this is going to be one of them. I CASEd this card from someone, but I can't for the life of me remember who. I've been searching online, but I haven't been able to find her.

The stamp set I used is Nature Walk (p. 27 in Occasions Mini). I stamped the birdcage and used a marker to draw the cords to make it look like it was hanging on something. The flowers were inked with markers, and I stamped them two or three times before reinking. I "stamped off" the bees before stamping them on the card. Stamping off is when you ink up a stamp, stamp it on a scrap piece of paper, and then onto the project. It gives the image a soft look. I then sponged the edges of the piece with Pear Pizzazz ink.

The greeting was punched out with the Designer Label Punch (p. 30 in the Occasions Mini), and then sponged with the Pear Pizzazz ink as well. I punched another label out of Pear Pizzazz card stock. I cut the shape in half, and attached one piece to the top, back of the greeting, and the other half to the bottom, back of the greeting. I tied on the Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (p. 16 in Occasions Mini), and then attached the greeting piece over it with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 197 in big catty).

Stamps: Nature Walk (Mini) and Sincere Salutations

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, & Chocolate Chip Classic ink pads; Rich Razzleberry & Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers

Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Confetti Cream, & Pear Pizzazz card stock

Accessories: Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding ribbon, Decorative Label Punch (Mini), Stampin' Dimensionals, & Stamping Sponges.

Mojo Monday, Week 183

Here we are on another Monday! I'm really getting into doing these Mojo Monday sketches. This week's is MOJO 183. I decided this sketch was perfect for the Easter Blossoms set (p. 17 in the Occasions Mini). I used a few other items from the Occasions Mini on this card, as well. The designer paper is the Springtime Vintage DSP (p. 15), the ribbon is the Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding (p. 16), and the Rose Red flower is from the Vintage Flower Adornments pack (p. 15).

The bow is separate from the rest of the ribbon. I do this a lot. I tied the bow onto the ribbon strip that was already attached. I put a Mini Glue Dot (p. 197 in big catty) underneath the bow after I tied it on. This kept it in place so it didn't turn sideways. I also attached the rose flower with 3 Mini Glue Dots. I usually only need to use one glue dot, but I added 2 extra to keep it on the bow better. The circle greeting piece is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 197). The rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory.

Stamps: Easter Blossoms (Mini)

Ink: Pear Pizzazz & Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pads; Blushing Bride & Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers

Paper: River Rock, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, & Very Vanilla card stock; Springtime Vintage DSP (Mini)

Accessories: Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (Mini), Vintage Flowers Adornments, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Mini Glue Dots, & Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I just had to make a St. Patty's Day card to celebrate. I used the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die (p. 215) to make the shamrock, and I cut the stem free hand. I also brushed a Garden Green ink pad on the edges of each "leaf." I inserted an In Color Glimmer Brad (p. 31 in Occasions Mini) into the center of the shamrock. As you can see, I used the Framed Tulips Impressions Folder (p. 28 in the Occasions Mini) on the base of the card. The designer paper is from the Springtime Vintage DSP (p. 15 in Occasions Mini) pack. I also attached each "leaf" and the greeting with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 197).

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Garden Green

Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, & Confetti Cream card stock; Springtime Vintage DSP (Mini)

Accessories: In Color Glimmer Brads (Mini), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die, Framed Tulips Impressions Folder (Mini), Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Scallop Oval Punch, 1-3/4" x 7/8" Oval Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, & Paper Snips

Mojo Monday #182 Sketch

Happy Monday, everyone! Well, I've made another card using a MojoMonday sketch. This one is Mojo Monday #182. I wanted to get a card made with the sketch this morning, but I had to wait until the big brown truck got here so I could use one of my newest sets!

This wonderful set is called, Strength & Hope. This set will be available in the new Summer Mini Catalog that comes out on May 1st. Not only is this a beautiful set, it will also help breast cancer research! For every set that is sold from May 1st - August 31, 2011, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I love how Stampin' Up! is always donating money to great causes! It's just another reason I love working with this great company.

The designer paper I used, Paisley Petals, will be in the upcoming 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog that comes out July 1st. Don't want to wait that long? Well, I have some great news for you! From April 1st - April 30th, you can purchase this beautiful designer paper early, along with a stamp set that will be in the new catalog as well!

When you place a $20 in April, you can order this designer paper and a stamp set called, Four Frames. You can order up to 5 each of the stamp set and paper. If you order another $20 worth of product, you can order up to 5 each again! You can also receive the stamp set and paper free when you host a qualifying workshop during April. I just got this stamp set (Four Frames) today, too, and I hope to have a card made with this set very soon. I'll post it as soon as I get it done.

Awash with Flowers Birthday

Here is the last of the five projects that will be made at my Spring Fever Stamp Camp in a couple weeks. I pulled out another set that I haven't used for awhile, Awash with Flowers (p. 99). I forgot how much I like this set. I really like the whimsical look of the flowers. I finally got to use a die I got not too long ago, too...Frame, Oval Scallop Bigz Die (p. 207). I die-cut a Whisper White and a Tempting Turquoise piece of card stock with the die. I used the inner oval of the Whisper white one to stamp the flowers on, and the scallop oval frame of the Tempting Turquoise one. I also ran the turquoise frame through the Big Shot again with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder (p. 214).

I tied a strip of Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta ribbon (p. 191) into a bow and attached it to the frame with a Mini Glue Dot (p. 197). The designer paper I used is from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP & Quick Accents SAB pack (p. 7 in the SAB brochure), and the birthday stamp is from the Punch Bunch SAB set (p. 5 in the SAB brochure). The birthday greeting was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 197).

Stamps: Awash with Flowers & Punch Bunch (SAB) sets

Ink: Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive Classic ink pads

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight & Whisper White card stock; Ice Cream Parlor DSP

Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Frame, Oval Scallop Bigz Die, Square Lattice Impressions Folder, Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Square Scallop Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Paper Snips, Mini Glue Dot, & Stampin' Dimensionals.
