Evergreen Christmas Card

Today's card is one that I made for a swap I was in.  It's a quick and easy card to make.  The tree is from the Evergreen stamp set (p. 18) in the Holiday Mini.  The greeting is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set (p. 8), also in the Holiday Catalog.  The last two Holiday Catalog items are the Festival of Prints DSP pack (p. 20) and the Lacy Brocade Impressions Folder (p. 6).

I embossed the top third of the card with the Lacy Brocade Folder.  I then added the Festival of Prints DSP strip to the center, right under the dry embossed section.  I stamped the greeting onto the bottom of the card with VersaMark ink (p. 159) and then heat embossed it with Pewter Emboss Powder (p. 159).

After I stamped the tree and the star, I stamped the "tree-shaped words" on top of the tree, lining it up with my Stamp-a-ma-jig (p. 7) in VersaMark ink.  I then heat embossed it with the Pewter EP, too.  The border on the bottom of the Always Artichoke layer was made with the Finishing Touches Edgelits dies (p. 190).  After attaching the tree layer to the Always Artichoke layer, I wrapped a strip of Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon (p. 172) across the front of it and attached the ribbon ends to the back.  I then took another strip of the ribbon, and tied it onto the first ribbon strip into a single knot.  I then attached it all to the card.
