Watercolor Winter SAS Card & Win a Free CPC Subscription

Happy Monday everyone!  Today's card is another card design that will be made at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack on Tuesday, October 30 and Thursday, November 1.  To find out more about this event, please to to my EVENTS CALENDAR.

I CASEd this card from another demonstrator, Dora Visky.  As far as I can tell, she doesn't have a blog.  This card features two Holiday Catalog sets.  They are Watercolor Winter (p. 14) and Greeting of the Season (p. 8) sets.  I stamped the outline holly/berry stamp in Garden Green ink across the top of the Whisper White layer.  I then inked up the leaves of the bold holly/berry stamp with a Garden Green marker, stamped it onto a scrap piece of paper, and inked up the berries with a Riding Hood Red marker.  Then, I stamped it over the lined images to color them in.  I stamped off the leaves first so the green would stamp lighter so the green outline would show better.  I used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (p. 7 in big catty) to line everything up, too.  I then attached it to the top of the Garden Green layer.

I then ran a narrow strip of Garden Green card stock through the Big Shot (p. 186) with the Petals-A-Plenty Impressions Folder (p. 189).  I then attached it to the bottom of the bigger Garden Green layer.  I then put a narrow strip of Riding Hood Red card stock between the stamped Whisper White piece and the embossed Garden Green piece.  Then, I attached it all to the Riding Hood Red card base.

The Riding Hood mat for the greeting was die-cut using one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits (p. 191).  I then inked up the greeting with Garden Green and Riding Hood Red markers, and stamped it onto Whisper White card stock.  I then attached it to the center of the Apothecary Accent, and then onto the center of the narrow red strip.  Lastly, I attached two Large Pearl Basic Jewels (p. 175) to each end of the Apothecary Accent mat.
