And just to make sure that dad feels extra special, give him a gift card to his favorite place. When it’s given in this matching gift card holder, he will know just how special he is on his special day!

Retiring Set - Flight of the Butterfly

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  I made today's card using this week's Mojo Monday sketch, MOJO 238.  I decided that one of the stamp sets that are retiring would work great with this sketch.  Actually, I'm using two retiring stamp sets on this one.  The main stamp set is Flight of the Butterfly (p. 108).  The greeting comes from a hostess set that is also retiring called Happiest Birthday Wishes (p. 10).

I stamped the small butterfly stamp in the set six times on Pool Party card stock using the same color ink, and six times on Lucky Limeade card stock using the same color ink.  I then punched each one out with the 1-1/4" Square Punch (p. 212).  I then attach each square onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock.  I then ran the whole piece through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (p. 215) with the Square Lattice Impression Folder (p. 218).  I then put it onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and attached it to the Peach Parfait card front.

The Cherry Cobbler circle piece was die-cut with the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die (p. 221).  The white circle was punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch (p. 212), and the tag layers were punched out with the Large Tag and Extra-Large  Tag Punches (p. 209).  The Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon (p. 195) was tied into a single knot, and attached to the top of the tag with a Mini Glue Dot (p. 206).

I also stamped the flower butterfly with the VersaMark ink pad (p. 203) onto Peach Parfait card stock, and heat embossed it with Cherry Cobbler Heat Emboss Powder (p. 201).  I then punched it out with the Butterfly Punch (p. 210).  I put Snail Adhesive (p. 206) onto the center of the butterfly only so that I could fold the wings up a little bit.  The butterfly body was made using a strip of 4 rhinestones from the Basic Rhinestones Jewels Pack (p. 198).

Stamps:  Flight of the Butterfly & Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess)

Ink:  Pool Party & Lucky Limeade Classic ink pads; Lucky Limeade, Peach Parfait, Pool Party, & Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers

Paper:  Peach Parfait, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, & Whisper White card stock

Accessories:  Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon; Basic Rhinestone Jewels; 1-1/4" Square, Butterfly, 1-3/4" Circle, Large Tag, & Extra-Large Tag Punches; Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die, Square Lattice Impressions Folder

Inside there is a slot to insert that gift card and even room to add some sweet treats or small tools! Last Stamp-A-Stack Card

Happy Friday, everyone!  Today's card is the last of the 5 designs that will be made at my All Occasions Stamp-A-Stack this Wednesday.  I always do at least one masculine card when I have a Stamp-A-Stack, and this is the one that will be made this time.

I used one of my favorite sets, Up, Up, and Away (p. 63).  I also used one of my go-to greeting sets, Sincere Salutations (p. 160) which sadly, is retiring!  I also used one of my favorite designer papers, Well Worn DSP (p. 185).

Two More Stamp-A-Stack Cards

Here are  two more cards for my All Occasion Stamp-A-Stack next Wednesday.  If you would like to find out more, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR.

Both cards use items from the Occasions Mini Catalog that ends April 30th.  The top card uses the Mouthwatering Stamp Set (p. 34), Sweet Shop Specialty DSP (p. 33) and Cherry Scented Stampin'  Emboss Powder (p. 35).  It's hard to tell in the picture, but the cherry is shiny from being embossed.  It smells like a cherry, too!

The bottom card uses the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set (p. 17), Blossom Punch (p. 17), and the Twitterpated DSP (p. 13).

There are only 11 days left to order from the Occasions Mini, so you'll want to place your order soon.  You can place an order 24/7 at my ONLINE STORE.

All Occasions Stamp-A-Stack

Today's cards are two of the five designs that will be made at my All Occasions Stamp-A-Stack next week on Wednesday, April 25.  Those who attend will make four of each design, and will go home with 20 cards with envelopes.  All of the designs are quick and simple, so making four of them won't be a problem.  To find out more, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR.

I CASED the top picture from a card that my good demonstrator friend, Kendra Jordan, made.  I needed to simplify it by making it a regular-sized card.  Her card is much cuter, because she made hers with the Scallop Square Bigz Die.  This card uses some of the Summer Smooches Sneak Peek available this month.  Most of the items will be in the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog June 1st, but you can get them early this month.  There are two items available this month only.  To see all of the Summer Smooches items, CLICK HERE.  You can place your order at my ONLINE STORE.  The greeting comes from an Occasions Mini set called Loving Thoughts (p. 15).

The card below was made with the Apothecary Art stamp set (pp. 24-25)  that's in the Occasions Mini.  This is the last month of the Occasions Mini.  I don't know which ones, but a number of the products in the mini will be gone forever after April 30th, so you'll want to PLACE AN ORDER before times runs out.  You can see the Occasions Mini by going to my STAMPIN' UP! CATALOGS page.

Mixed Bunch Flower Pot & Double-Pocket Card

Here's the next April project over at Craft Project Central.  Isn't it gorgeous?  This beautiful project was designed by Lynn Weiss.

Here’s a fun green project just in time for Spring! Recycle a can into a pretty pot holding a bouquet of flowers created using the Mixed Bunch stamp set. The whimsical pennant leaves stamped with inspiring words are the perfect accent. Make the matching double-pocket card, with a matching bookmark and tag, and give to someone creative in your life, or make it for your own craft studio!
