Bird House Box & Card

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas yesterday!  There's always so much to do to get ready for Christmas, and then all of a sudden, it's over!  I've got another great Craft Project Central project to show you.  It was designed by Monika Davis.

Christmas is over, but there are always occasions when you have to give. Make this simple, but very elegant birdhouse style box for any type of small gifts. Fill it with sweets, or just put a gift card inside. It will be a treasured box that can be reused over and over again. The matching greeting card is just the perfect addition.  Great for small parties or a class project.

Spring Catty Sneak Peak - Card Tutorial

Are you ready for Christmas yet?  I'm just about there.  Once I get the presents wrapped, I'll be ready!  Today, I took a break from Christmas cards, and made this card using some upcoming products from the Spring Catalog that starts January 3, 2013.  I used this month's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch #18 at Craft Project Central to make this card.

The new Spring Catalog stamp sets I used are Collage Curios and That's the Ticket.  The new embellishment I used is the pretty Designer Builder Brad on the bow.  There were a few tricks I used on this card, so I decided to make an illustrated, step-by-step tutorial for you.  Click the link below the picture to see it.
