Mojo Monday Sketch #276

Happy Monday, everyone!  I'm a lot later posting than usual, but I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to post this one.  I haven't played along with the Mojo Monday sketch for quite awhile, and I finally had time to do it today.  To see the sketch, go to MOJO276.  As you can see, I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to the right.

This is going to be one of the cards that my technique club will be making this week.  I used the bleach technique on this card.  The stamp set I used is the Blooming with Kindness stamp set (p. 87 in the annual catalog).  The flower was stamped onto Sahara Sand card stock with VersaMark ink, heat embossed with black EP, and then painted with bleach.  Once the bleach dried, I watercolored it with Calypso Coral ink.  I then die-cut it with the third smallest die from the Window Frames Collection Framelits dies (p. 36 in the Spring Catalog).  I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink to make it pop a little more.

The designer paper is from the beautiful, new Tea for Two DSP pack (p. 3 in the Spring Catalog).  Both DSP pieces are 2" x 4", and I attached them to the top of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  I wrapped a 6" piece of Lucky Limeade 3/8" ruffled ribbon (p. 172 in the annual catalog) across the bottom of the DSP, and attached the two ends to the back of the card stock.  I then took a 5" piece of the same ribbon, and tied it onto the left side of the other piece of ribbon with a single knot.  I stamped the greeting from the stamp set with Early Espresso ink.  I attached it all to the Calypso Coral card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", folded in half).  I then attached the flower piece to the center of the DSP with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 177 in the annual catalog).
