My Latest Stampin' Up! Cards

My Latest Blog Posts

Thanks a Ton!

This card is going to be one of the cards made at my Fun & Cute Stamp Camp this Thursday.  To find out more about this camp, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR.

I used the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) stamp set, Patterned Occasions (SAB Brochure).  I also used three more SAB items...Sycamore Street DSP, Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack, and Vine Street Impressions Folder (all SAB Brochure).  To find out more about Sale-A-Bration, go to my Current Promotions Page on this blog.

I first embossed a  piece of Pool Party card stock (CS) with the Vine Street Folder.  I attached it to the top of the Island Indigo card base, and then attached a piece of Sahara Sand CS to the bottom of the card base.  I punched the edge of a piece of Island Indigo CS with the Scallop Edge Border Punch (p. 183).  I attached a piece of Sycamore Street DSP to the scalloped piece, and then attached it to the card as pictured below.

I inked up the elephant and greeting on the Patterned Occasions stamp with Island Indigo ink, and the flower & stem with Gumball Green ink.  I then stamped it to a piece of Whisper White CS.  I punched out the small scallop circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (p. 183) from a piece of Tangerine Tango CS, and clipped each scallop to make it look like flower petals.  I attached it to the flower with a glue dot (p. 177), and added a medium-sized rhinestone from the Basic Rhinestone Jewels Pack (p. 175) to the center.  I punched the edge of another piece of Island Indigo CS, and attached the stamped piece to the top of it.  I then wrapped a piece of Tangerine Tango satin ribbon from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack around the bottom of the stamped piece, and attached the ends to the back.  I then tied another piece of the same ribbon into a single knot on the right side of the first ribbon.  Lastly, I attached the piece to the center of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 177).
