Lacy Love is Kindness Card

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I have another card to share with you today. It's the first card I've made with the Love is Kindness Stamp from the Occasions Catalog. I also used the Something Lacy Stamp from the same catalog for the background on the Soft Sky layer. I colored the image with Blendabilities, and I really like how it turned out. I tied the silver ribbon into a bow, and then attached it to the top of the tag with a Glue Dot. The tag was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

During Sale-A-Bration, you can get the Crumb Cake Blendabilites that I used on the newspaper free with a $50 order (before shipping & tax). You'll need to use the catalog #139925 to get the pack free. The catalog # below is to purchase the set.

The supply list is below. As usual, I've provided links to all types of the stamp sets available. If you are looking at this through a feed or email, you'll need to go to my blog to see the supply list. The supply list I use doesn't show up in feeds.

Best Day Ever CPC43

I'm so happy...I finally have something I've made to share with you. I used this month's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch #43 (CPC43) over at Craft Project Central to make this card. I wanted to make a card with this sketch weeks ago, but this month has been so busy! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN A FREE MONTH SUBSCRIPTION TO CRAFT PROJECT CENTRAL, THEN YOU'LL WANT TO PLAY ALONG. You don't have a lot of time. This sketch ends this Saturday, January 31!

I used a lot of Sale-A-Bration (SAB) items on this card. I used the Best Day Ever Stamp Set, Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper, and Best Year Ever Accessory Pack. With every $50 spent on a Stampin' Up! order by March 31, you can pick out a SAB item in the SAB Brochure. If you would like to get your hands on this wondeful free stuff, place your order today!

The card base was made with an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock. With an 8-1/2" side along the top of the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, I scored the piece at 2-1/8" and 6-3/8". Then I decorated it. Only the right half of the oval is attached to the card, too.

The supplies used to make this card are below. I've included links to the wood-mount, clear-mount, & photopolymer forms of the stamp set for your convenience.

A fitting tribute, this flower bouquet is enthroned on a glimmering pedestal and protected under a shiny clear dome. Flowers in Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron, and Blushing Bride are tied around their stems with silky Wisteria Wonder Seam Binding.  My coordinating card is dedicated to my sister, but could also be a fitting tribute to your lovely mother or other special woman in your life.

CPC Art Canvas & Garland Decor

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Regina Andari. You can see more of her creations on her blog, Workin' Out the Inks.

With this tutorial, you’ll learn to make two home décor items that are perfect for Valentine’s Day but, since they stray from the traditional colors of pink and red, it won’t be necessary to rush to put them away.  First up is the adorable black canvas, which would be a sweet gift item, featuring the Hearts Decorative Mask.  You will probably make a list of people for whom you can make a canvas once you see how easy it is to go from a blank canvas to WOW.  The second project is a heart garland that you will thoroughly enjoy making!  It is surprisingly quick and easy from start to finish, and it has such a sweet presentation that you will be looking for the perfect place to hang it—and leave it year-round.  Lastly, there’s a greeting card that coordinates with the canvas and garland.

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Yapha Mason. You can see more of her creations on her blog, Stamps & Scraps With Yapha.

Are you looking for a variety of ways to package up Valentine treats for your friends and loved ones? Do you need new ideas for treats your child can take to school? Or maybe something to send your grandchildren? This project contains instructions to create six different holders for five types of Valentine candy, plus one more for Valentine pencils. Some of the packaging is easy enough for children to make, and others are more complicated. The variety of choices available make this the perfect project to get ready for Valentine’s day at home, at school, or to have plenty of options for a Valentine themed stamp camp or class.

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Buffy Cooper. You can see more of her creations on her blog, Stamping with Buffy.

Here’s a fun project using Simply Pressed Clay to personalize a gift box made with the Envelope Liners Framelits.  Use Designer Series Paper to jazz up office supplies, create a paper weight using Clear Blocks in creative ways, and you have a great handmade gift for one of the special men in your life.  The box makes an attractive desk accessory to hold pens, paper and more.  This would also make a fun class or stamp camp!
