Almost Time for Goodbyes!

We're saying goodbye to retiring products from the 2014-2015 annual catalog, but before we do, Stampin' Up! is giving everyone an opportunity to order their favorites with discounts up to 50 percent off retail. Retiring products will only be available until June 2, or while supplies last.

Due to high demand for retiring stamps, Stampin' Up! will keep producing retiring stamps until May 26. After that, they will be While Supplies Last

All Accessories are While Supplies Last. I've seen some items run out the first day (even the first few hours), so you'll need to hurry! The lists of retiring products will be updated every business day by 4:00 PM (MT).

All My Digital Studio products are retiring, too!

Place your order today, before your favorites are gone! The retiring 2013-2015 In Color products will be the first ones to disappear. So, hurry to get these colors, and, if you already have them, make sure to get your ink refills for these colors before it's too late!

Here's a video showing some of our favorite retiring products:

CPC Mother’s Day Memory Folder & Card

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Buffy Cooper. You can see more of her creations on her blog, Stamping with Buffy.

Sometimes you need more than a card to express how much your mom means to you.  This beautiful little folder tells her five different ways, and it doubles as a hanging organizer to keep business and appointment cards, coupons, or little mementos.  The pockets are the perfect size for Project Life cards, so this can also be used as a Brag Book later.  Create a coordinating card and a napkin holder or gift box topper to make Mom’s day extra special.  This would make a fun “class with purchase” or a girls’ night out event.

Mother's Love CPC46

This is the first card I've made with the Mother's Love Stamp Set. It's such a pretty set, and I love the font on the greeting stamps in it. I used this month's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch #46 to make this card. If you're wanting more variety in your card layouts, then you'll definitely want to use this sketch.

If you play along with the sketch, you have a chance to win a free month Craft Project Central (CPC) subscription of your choice! For every 10 cards entered, a winner will be drawn. If CPC project designers submit a card for your inspiration this month, they won’t be in the winner random-selection pool, but their cards will count towards the “for every 10 cards submitted winner total”. Click Here to enter your card. You have until April 30 to enter. Good Luck!

Now, I have a little tip on how I made the mat for the staped banner on the card. I die-cut the Whisper White layer with the third banner die (begin counting from the smallest one up) in the Banners Framelits Dies. The fourth banner die was larger than I wanted, so I needed to do some altering.
  1. I attached the stamped image to a 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.
  2. I laid the fourth banner die on top of the piece. I lined the bottom of the banner die up so the Mossy Meadow border was the same width as the other three sides. I also centered the piece from left to right under the die.
  3. Once everything was lined up, I ran it through the Big Shot. I then attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Crazy About You MOJO393

Another MojoMonday sketch, CPC393, came out today, and this is the card I came up with. I replaced the circle in the sketch with the flowers. The card is pretty self-explanatory, and pretty quick to make. I really like how it turned out.

Tips:
  1. I only embossed the top half of the Sahara Sand piece with the Zig Zag embossing folder.
  2. The branches were made with the Bird Builder Punch. I did shorten the branches so they would fit under the flowers.
  3. The DSP sizes are 2" x 3" (Hello Honey paper) and 2" x 2" (Crisp Cantaloupe paper).
  4. The Lost Lagoon flower was punched out with the Flower Medallion Punch, and the Hello Honey flower was punched out with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch.
  5. I attached the Lost Lagoon flower on with a Stampin' Dimensional on the top and bottom. I attached the Hello Honey flower with SNAIL Adhesive on the top, left, and a Stampin' Dimensional on the bottom, right.
  6. The rhinestone is one of the largest rhinestones in the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

CPC “Lovely Amazing You” 3” x 6” Cards & Holder

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Regina Andari, and you can see more of her wonderful creations on her blog, Workin' Out the Inks.

Greeting cards that stand out usually have a unique design, but another characteristic that gets attention is when the card is a unique size or shape.  With this tutorial, create a lovely and useful set of 3” x 6” greeting cards that will stand tall for attention, and then make coordinating envelopes for them using Gold Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Complete the ensemble and make a perfect gift by creating a coordinating mini magazine holder that is the perfect size for holding this set of tall cards.  You’ll love this project so much that you’ll want to make an extra to keep for yourself!

Sheltering Tree Thankful Card

Here's the last card that will be made at my upcoming Fun & Cute Stamp Camp. You can see all of the cards being made at this camp by Clicking Here.

The Sheltering Tree Stamp Set is one of my favorites right now. The possibilities with it seem endless! This card definitely shouts out "SPRING!"

Tips:
  1. I stamped the tree trunk first in Soft Suede ink. Then, I stamped the leaves on with Coastal Cabana ink.
  2. After the tree was done, I stamped the ground and the flower stems on with Pear Pizzazz ink. Then, I stamped the flowers on in Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry ink.
  3. I punched one end of the Coastal Cabana layer with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I then attached the stamped image piece and DSP piece onto it.
  4. I wrapped a piece of Calpyso Coral Seam Binding around the piece, and attached the ends to the back. I then tied on another piece of it to the top of the seam binding using a single knot.
  5. Once all that is done, I attached everything to the Calypso Coral card base.
  6. I stamped the greeting onto a piece of Sahara Sand in Soft Suede ink. I then inserted the left end of the piece into the Hexagon Punch. Line up one of the points of the hexagon to the center of the strip and punch to make the banner end. Then attach the strip to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
