My First Sprinkles of Life Card

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We had beautiful weather all weekend, and we got our flowers and vegetables all planted. The yard looks great!

Today, I made my first card with the wonderful new Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) stamp set, Sprinkles of Life. I was in my second year as a demonstrator when Stampin' Up! started having RMHC stamp sets, and I think this is the best one yet! It will be available to order on June 2, when the new catalog goes live. With every RMHC set sold, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to the charity. Stampin' Up! has donated over $1,000,000 to RMHC since 2004. There's even a punch that punches out just about every image in the set, and it's called Tree Builder Punch. You gotta love that!

Tips:
  1. I stamped the clouds onto the Pool Party cardstock with Pool Party ink,
  2. The tree top was stamped onto the Cucumber Crush cardstock with Cucumber Crush ink, and the tree truck was stamped onto the Tip Top Taupe cardstock with Tip Top Taupe ink. Each image was punched out with the Tree Builder Punch.
  3. The little bird was stamped onto Watermelon Wonder cardstock with Watermelon Wonder ink, and then punched out with the Tree Builder Punch. I attached it to the tree with a Mini Glue Dot.
  4. The yellow flowers were stamped onto Whisper White cardstock with Crushed Curry ink. I punched out the flowers with the Tree Builder Punch, and attached them to every other flower with a Mini Glue Dot. I put the smallest-size rhinestones from the Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto the center of each Crushed Curry flower, too.
  5. The tree was attached to the card with Stampin Dimensionals.
  6. I punched the circle out from a piece of Cherry On Top DSP Stack paper with a 2-1/2" Circle Punch. I attached it to the card, making sure the left side of the circle hung over the edge of the Pool Party layer. I trimmed off the part that was hanging over.
The supply list below only includes the items that are available right now. I'll add the new products once the new catalog goes live. The new items are, Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set; Tree Builder Punch; Cherry On Top DSP Stack; Watermelon Wonder Cardstock & Ink Pad; Cucumber Crush Cardstock & Ink Pad; and Tip Top Taupe Cardstock & Ink Pad.

Painted Petals Meets Mother's Love & New In Colors

Happy Friday, everyone! I wanted to share the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day. I used two of the new 2015-2017 In Colors...Watermelon Wonder & Mint Macaron. I just LOVE the lace trim in the new In Colors. It's so pretty! I love how it looks tied in a bow. I'm going to be using this lace a lot, I'm sure!

I can't include the new In Color items I used in the supply list below, because they aren't available to buy until June 2. So, I'll list them here:  Watercolor Wonder & Mint Macaron Classic Pads and 8-1/2" x 11" Cardstock; Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim; and 2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents.

Tips:
  1. I attached the bow to the card with a Glue Dot. I also attached a little adhesive on the bow ends (tails) and attached them to the card. I didn't want the bow ends covering up my greeting.
  2. The Blossom Accent I used was a Mint Macaron one. I also attached it to the bow with a Glue Dot.
  3. The flowers were stamped with Watermelon Wonder, and the leaves on the same layer were stamped with Mint Macaron. The greeting was stamped in Soft Suede ink.
  4. The leaves were stamped onto the Mint Macaron layer with Mint Macaron ink.
  5. The Whisper White layer was embossed with the Spring Flowers folder.

The retiring items I used on this card are the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and the Lost Lagoon 3/8" Striped Satin Ribbon.

The retiring items on this last card are the Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set, Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies. I also used the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in the Occasions Catalog. It's only available until June 2.
