My CPC Baby's First Year Mini Scrapbook & Card - December Bonus Project

This month's Craft Project Central Bonus Project is designed by ME! I've been wanting to make something with Project Life products for a long time, and I finally did it! This was so much fun to make!

If you've got a new baby in the family, or a friend has had a baby, then you really should make this mini scrapbook for them. This mini scrapbook is a great little keepsake for the baby's first year. There is room for a picture of the baby for each of its first twelve months, along with two pockets to put little keepsakes in. This scrapbook shows a new way to use the Project Life Baby Girl Card Collection and Hello Baby Accessory Pack. It also features the Hello Baby Stamp Set. It can be customized for a baby boy by using the Project Life Baby Boy Card Collection instead. This would also make a great Project Life Class.

If you would like to see and learn how to make this bonus project, you'll want to subscribe for the month of December, AND qualify for the bonus project. Bonus projects can be obtained by subscribing to two or more months in a row, putting the Craft Project Central badge on your blog, or by referring a friend and when they subscribe, letting CPC know. With your subscription, and qualifying for the bonus project, you'll get illustrated, step-by-step instructions for 11 wonderful projects for only $10!

Cozy Christmas Ornament Card

I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas! Mine was fabulous. It started with our "kids" (all three are in their early 20s), opening their presents, and ended with a wonderful afternoon and evening at my parents' house. It was a little warmer than we're used to, but it was still a great day!

I'm so sorry that I haven't posted my own creations in awhile. I've been super busy. I had planned on posting this card on Christmas Eve, but I ran out of time. Then, I got sick Christmas night, and haven't felt up to working at all over the weekend. Thankfully, I didn't start feeling bad until after we were on our way home from my parents' house.

Today's card is my last Christmas card of the year. I made it with the Cozy Christmas, Snow Place, and Sparkly Season Stamp Sets. I also used this month's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch #54 (CPC54) over at Craft Project Central.

There are only 3 days left to play along! If you submit a card using the sketch by Thursday, December 31, you might get a chance to  win a free month Craft Project Central (CPC) subscription. There need to be at least 10 cards submitted to have a winner, and there are only seven submitted right now. You have a very good chance to win this month, because all of the cards submitted, except for one, were made by CPC designers, and we aren't put in the drawing, but do go towards the count. Click HERE to get all of the particulars, and to submit your card.

CPC Snow Day Fun

Today's Craft Project Central Project is designed by Buffy Cooper, and you can see more of her creations on her blog, Stamping With Buffy.

It’s 10 a.m. on a snow day. The snow is piling up outside and doesn’t look like it’s going to stop, and then you hear those three dreaded words – “Mom, I’m bored.” Keep your children entertained with this Snow Day Fun set. Use the Stampin’ Up! Snow Place bundle to create mix and match elements that will cling to the scenic background board. It’s simple enough for older children to create for younger siblings or neighbors, and smaller children will enjoy mixing the pieces to create cute snow scenes. Best of all, it’s durable enough to stand up to hours of use by tiny fingers. If you don’t have children, you can create this project for a friend who does and make a young child’s day. Instructions for a storage/gift box and a coordinating card are included. This would make a fun class for moms so they’ll be ready for that first snow day!

My CPC Handbag Card Set

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by ME! I've had this Remarkable You Stamp Set for awhile, and haven't had a chance to use it until now. The flowers in the stamp set are gorgeous!

Everyone needs some pretty colors and flowers to get them through the cold winters, and this card set would definitely cheer them up! The cards are stored in a cute little handbag with pretty Antique Brads on the handles. The handbag can hold eight cards and envelopes. This tutorial includes two card designs made with the Remarkable You Stamp Set, and four of each design can be made to fill up the handbag. This would make a perfect gift, and a great class project.

I used the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP), but it can have a totally different look with another DSP. You could make a lot of these in very little time. These ornaments will look great on your tree, and as a decoration on your presents, too!
