Happy Home Missing You Card

Here's another card that was made at my Occasions Catalog Stamp Camp yesterday. This card features the Happy Home Stamp Set and the Botanicals Gardens Designer Series Paper. I really like the tree in this stamp. I love the shape of it.

Tips:
  1. Only the top half of the Mint Macaron layer is embossed with the Elegant Dots Folder.
  2. The trees leaves were watercolored with a Blender Pen and Hello Honey ink. The flowers were watercolored with Cajun Craze ink, and the flower leaves were watercolored with Old Olive ink.
  3. The sky was colored with a sponge dauber and Soft Sky ink, and the ground was sponged in with Old Olive ink. The sponging gives the sky and ground a softer look, which is what I was going for.
  4. The tree layer was attached to the back of the window, and then attached to the card. This helped with getting the tree right where I wanted it in the window, and insured that the window would be on the card where I wanted it.
