My CPC Baker's Box Creations– January Bonus Project

Today's Craft Project Central project is this month's Bonus Project, and it's designed by ME!

This tutorial includes three different treat and gift boxes made with the Baker’s Box Thinlits Dies. There’s a little treat box that holds a Ghirardelli candy bar perfectly, a tall Baker’s Box that can hold a full-size candy bar or anything around the same size, and a wide Baker’s Box that can hold a lot of treats or a little gift. The boxes also feature the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set and English Garden Designer Series Paper. This would make a great product-based class for the Baker’s Box Thinlits Dies.

If you would like to see and learn how to make this bonus project, you'll want to subscribe for the month of January, AND qualify for the bonus project. Bonus projects can be obtained by subscribing to two or more months in a row, putting the Craft Project Central badge on your blog, or by referring a friend and when they subscribe, letting CPC know. With your subscription, and qualifying for the bonus project, you'll get illustrated, step-by-step instructions for 11 wonderful projects for only $10!

A Nice Cuppa Stamp Camp Card

Here is the last card that will be made at my Fun & Cute Camp today. I CASEd this one from a card that Mary Fish made. It's pretty much the exact same card. I loved the pops of Melon Mambo she added to the mostly Wisteria Wonder card.

Tips:
  1. To get a perfect image for the tea cup, use the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Lay the Whisper White cardstock on top of the mat, and then stamp. The mat gives the right support for the stamp, so it stamps beautifully!
  2. The linen thread was attached to the back side of the cup by putting a Stampin' Dimensional over one of the thread ends. The other thread end was attached to the back of tea bag tag by putting a Stampin' Dimensional over it, too.
  3. The tea cup and tea bag tag were attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. A large Melon Mambo enamel dot was put in the heart, and a small one was put on the tea bag tag. The enamel dots are from the It's My Party Enamel Dots in the Occasions Catalog.

Sky is the Limit Fun & Cute Camp Card

Here is another card the I've made for my upcoming Fun & Cute Stamp Camp. This is the first card I've made using the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Sky is the Limit. I really like this stamp set! It's so perfect for masculine cards! You can get this stamp set free with a $50 order (before shipping & tax), but you'll need to hurry! It's one of the items that will not be available through the whole Sale-A-Bration promotion. It's only available through February, 21, 2016!

Tips:
  1. The Tip Top Taupe layer of the card is embossed with the World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF).
  2. The Delightful Dijon Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Basic Black DSP strips come from the Going Places DSP Stack.
  3. The airplane is stamped with Lost Lagoon ink, the clouds with Tip Top Taupe ink, and the greeting with Delightful Dijon ink.
  4. After the stamped/DSP layer is attached to the Lost Lagoon layer, the whole thing is attached to the center of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Rose Wonder Fun & Cute Camp Card

I finally have something to show you that I've made! I was at a crafting retreat over the weekend, and I was able to play with some of my new Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration goodies. I had so much fun!

Today's card is one that will be made at my Fun & Cute Stamp Camp this Thursday. I CASEd the card from one that Ilina Crouse made. I used Stampin' Up! Classic Stampin' Pads and Sponge Daubers to color the die instead, though. After sponging the die-cut pieces, I glued them onto a piece of Very Vanilla with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. I LOVE how it turned out!

It's hard to see in the picture, but if you look closely, you can see a little glimmer in the big rose. After attaching the die-cuts, I colored the openings in the rose with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. It's so pretty in person!

CPC Crash the (DSP) Stash

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Regina Andari, and you can see more of her creations on her blog, Workin' Out the Inks.

Ask any stamper or paper crafter and, if they’re honest, they’ll admit to having more designer paper than they’ll probably live long enough to use. The problem (for lack of a better word) is that there are too many gorgeous paper collections coming and going all the time.  This tutorial will demonstrate a fun, colorful, and creative technique that will not only have you using that paper you’ve been hoarding, but it also gives the green light to mixing and matching colors and patterns that you would normally never use together.  While you are putting your hoarded stash to work, you will thoroughly enjoy some trendy techniques such as the quilt and tag cards, tag-shaped window, glimmer pinwheel card, and a colorful, fun Bargello design.  Of course, you’ll need a pretty place to put your stack of cards, and this tutorial includes a handy pocket portfolio for that purpose.

Botanical Blooms Birthday Card

I've had my Botanical Blooms Bundle for a few weeks, now, and I FINALLY got to play with it! I fell in love with this bundle as soon as I saw it in the 2016 Occasions Catalog. I especially love the flower dies in the Botanical Builder Framelits that look like two layers. The flower die I used for this card is one of them. So pretty! I can't wait to use this bundle on a scrapbook layout!

This will be one of the cards made at my Fun & Cute Stamp Camp later this month!

Tips:
  1. After die-cutting the flower, sponge the middle of the flower with Cajun Craze ink using a Sponge Dauber.
  2. After die-cutting the flower center out, sponge the middle of it the same as the flower, making sure NOT to sponge the ends. Then, color the circular center of the piece with an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker.
  3. Stamp the leaves onto a piece of Old Olive cardstock using Mossy Meadow ink, and then die-cut it out.
  4. Attach the leaves to the card with SNAIL Adhesive.
  5. Attach the flower center to the center of the flower using a Mini Glue Dot, and then attach the flower to the middle of the leaves with a Stampin' Dimensional.
