Sale-A-Bration Ends TODAY!

SALE-A-BRATION ENDS TODAY!

I can't believe this is my last Sale-A-Bration (SAB) card! I really like how this one turned out. I used the SAB items, What I Love Stamp Set and Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP). This two-step stamp set makes beautiful flowers, and the colors and images in the DSP are wonderful!

If there are still some Sale-A-Bration items you want, you'll need to place your qualifying order sometime TODAY. Sale-A-Bration ends today at 11:50 p.m. (MT). For every $50 you spend on an order (before shipping & tax), you get one Free Sale-A-Bration item! It's really a great deal! The Sale-A-Bration items WILL NOT appear in any future catalogs, so this is your last chance to get them!

Card Instructions:
  1. Fold a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock in half to form the card base.
  2. Attach a 4-1/4" x 2" piece of Whisper White/multi-color floral paper from the Wildflower Fields DSP onto the bottom of a 4-1/4" x 2-1/16" piece of Hello Honey Cardstock. The bottom, left, and right edges of the DSP and Cardstock should be lined up together.
  3. Without attaching, lay the DSP/cardstock piece onto the bottom of the card, lining the bottom, left, and right edges of the piece and card together. Stamp the "Thank You" stamp from the What I Love Stamp Set onto the right side of the card, directly above the DSP/cardstock layer with the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad.
  4. Now, attach the DSP/cardstock piece to the bottom of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Emboss a 4-1/4" x 2" piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock by running it through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine with the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Cut five pearls from one of the pearl strips in the Pearl Basic Jewels, and attach them to the bottom, left side of the Calypso Coral piece. Leave a little cardstock border below the pearls. Cut nineteen pearls from another pearl strip, and attach it to the bottom, right side of the same piece. Attach the piece to the top of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Make sure to line the top of the piece with the fold in the card, and line up sides of the piece and the card together.
  6. Punch a circle out of a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the 2" Circle Punch. Stamp the outline flower stamp onto the right side of the circle using the Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the large, detail flower stamp onto the center of the outline flower using the Pink Pirouette Classic Stampin' Pad. Then, stamp the small, detail flower stamp onto the center of the stamped flower using the Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad.
  7. Stamp the double-leaf stamp onto the top, right and bottom, right of the flower using the Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the small flower stamp twice on the left side of the circle using the Hello Honey Classic Stampin' Pad.
  8. Punch a scallop circle from a scrap piece of Lost Lagoon Cardstock using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. Attach the flower circle to the center of the scallop circle. Put SNAIL Adhesive across the top and bottom of the back of the scallop circle, and put one Stampin' Dimensional onto the middle. Attach the scallop circle to the left side of the card, placing it directly over the Whisper White middle. The top and bottom of the circle should overlap the top and bottom layers of the card, and the top of the scallop circle should be in-between the two pearl strips.

Pedal Pusher Sale-A-Bration Card

SALE-A-BRATION ENDS TOMORROW!

I can't believe it! The last three months have just flown by! I have a Sale-A-Bration card to share today, and I'll have another one to share tomorrow, so make sure to come back. I've made quite a few
Sale-A-Bration (SAB) cards this year. The SAB items have been wonderful this year! To see all of my creations, CLICK HERE.

Today's card features the Sale-A-Bration item, Pedal Pusher Stamp Set. I love all of the little stamps that can be used on the bike. The set is so adorable! I used this week's card sketch at The Paper Players blog. This is the first time I've done one of their challenges. When I saw their PP288 Sketch, I knew it would be perfect for this set.

If there are still some Sale-A-Bration items you want, you'll need to place your qualifying order by TOMORROW, Thursday, March 31. For every $50 you spend on an order (before shipping & tax), you get one Free Sale-A-Bration item! It's really a great deal! The Sale-A-Bration items WILL NOT appear in any future catalogs, so this is your last chance to get them!

Card Instructions:
  1. Fold a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Pool Party Cardstock in half to form the card base.
  2. Attach a 1-1/4" x 4" piece of Melon Mambo/Whisper White circle paper from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack (DSP) to the left side of the card. Attach a 1" x 4" piece of Wisteria Wonder/Whisper White heart paper right next to the Melon Mambo strip, and then attach a 3/4" x 4" piece of Crushed Curry lemon paper right next to it (refer to pictures for DSP placement).
  3. Punch the left side of a 5" x 3/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the Banner Triple Punch. The strip is narrower than the smallest banner guide in the punch, so make sure to center it within the guide. Stamp the "let me pedal..." stamp from the Pedal Pusher Stamp Set onto the banner with the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Stamp it centering it left and right, and closer to the bottom edge of the banner than the top. Attach the banner to the bottom, right of the card, lining the right edge of the banner with the right edge of the card.
  4. Stamp the bike stamp onto the center of a 3-1/4" x 1-3/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Stamp both bird stamps onto the two bike seats and stamp the basket stamp onto the front of the bike. Stamp them both with the same Memento Pad.
  5. Watercolor the images in using a Blender Pen, and using the following ink pads...Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Pool Party, and Wisteria Wonder Classic Stampin' Pads (refer to pictures when watercoloring).
  6. Attach the bike piece to a 3-1/2" x 2" piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock. Then, attach it to the card, on the top part of the banner, with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Punch out a flower using the flower punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack from a scrap piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock. Punch out two flowers. Attach the flowers together with a Mini Glue Dot, staggering the petals. Attach one large Crushed Curry enamel dot from the It's My Party Enamel Dots to the center of the flower. Bend the flower petals up, and attach it to the right side of the banner with another Mini Glue Dot.

If you qualify for a Sale-A-Bration item, you redeem them after adding your items to the shopping bag. Once all of your items are entered, look at the Special Offers box under the items list on the left. Click on the "Click Here" where it says "Congratulations! You qualify for 1 or more free Sale-A-Bration product(s) CLICK HERE" That's where you enter the SAB item you want.

Honeycomb Happiness Meets Perfect Pairs

Ok, I can't believe the first three months of 2016 are almost over! Time just goes way too fast!

I seem to be making a lot of birthday cards here lately! Stampin' Up! has so many great birthday stamp sets right now, so it's easy to do! I used two Sale-A-Bration items on this one...Honeycomb Happiness and Perfect Pairings Stamp Sets. This card didn't take me long to make at all. It's very hard to see in the pictures, but I painted the balloons and the Tempting Turquoise on the end of the greeting banner with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. The glittery shine really makes this easy card more special. I think the picture that shows the glitter the best is the next one below, but it still doesn't do it justice.

There are only a little over 4 days left of Sale-A-Bration!

If there are still some Sale-A-Bration items you want, you'll need to place your qualifying order by next Thursday, March 31. For every $50 you spend on an order (before shipping & tax), you get one Free Sale-A-Bration item! It's really a great deal! The Sale-A-Bration items WILL NOT appear in any future catalogs, so this is your last chance to get them!

Card Instructions:
  1. Fold an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Real Red Cardstock in half to form the card base.
  2. Emboss a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White Cardstock by running it through the Big Shot with the Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
  3. Stamp the balloon stamp from the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set three times in the oval in the middle of the embossed Whisper White layer using the Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad. Watercolor the balloons and bows using a Blender Pen and the following ink pads...Daffodil Delight, Real Red, & Tempting Turquoise Classic Stampin' Pads (refer to picture). Then, brush the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen over all three balloons.
  4. Attach the embossed/balloon layer to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black Cardstock, and then attach it to the Real Red card base.
  5. Punch one end of a 4" x 1-1/2" piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock and one end of a 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Tempting Turquoise Cardstock with the Banner Triple Punch.  With the punched end on the right, stamp the "Happy Birthday" stamp from the Perfect Pairings Stamp Set onto the right side of the Daffodil Delight banner using the Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad. Attach the Daffodil Delight banner to the Tempting Turquoise banner, lining the straight edges of both banners together.
  6. Put four Real Red dots from the Brights Candy Dots onto the left side of the banner. Paint the Tempting Turquoise banner end with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. Attach the banner underneath the balloons on the card, lining the straight, left edge of the banner with the left Whisper White edge.

Short & Sweet Saturday - Party Pants SAB Card

I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to do a Short & Sweet Saturday card for the last couple weeks. I'll try my best to do one every week, but sometimes it's impossible. All of my Short & Sweet Saturday cards are quick and easy to make, so they're perfect if you need to make a card last minute. I always include complete instructions on how to make my Short & Sweet cards, too.

Since  Sale-A-Bration is almost over, I wanted to make a card with a Sale-A-Bration stamp set. The one I chose is the Party Pants Stamp Set. This set is so perfect for birthday cards. There are so many great sayings with this set, too. I love it!

There are only a little over 5 days left of Sale-A-Bration!

  1. Fold an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock in half to form the card base. Stamp the perimeter of the card front with the confetti stamp from the Party Pants Stamp Set using the Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pad.
  2. Stamp the balloon string stamp three times onto the right side of a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock (see pictures for placement) using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Wrap a strip of the Mint Macaroon striped washi tape from the It's My Party Designer Washi Tape across the bottom of the piece, wrapping the ends of the tape to the back. Wrap a strip of the balloon washi tape the same way right on top, and wrap a strip of the Basic Black washi tape on top of that.
  3. Stamp the "Woo Hoo!" stamp onto the left side of the piece, directly over the washi tape strips using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Attach the piece to the center of a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Then, attach it to the center of the card base.
  4. Stamp the balloon stamp onto a 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, and Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pads...one balloon in each color. Stamp the "Happy Birthday..." stamp onto the center of the Crushed Curry balloon using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Punch the balloons out with the largest balloon in the Balloon Bouquet Punch. Attach the Melon Mambo balloon to the top of the center string, and the Mint Macaron balloon to the right string, using SNAIL Adhesive. Attach the Crushed Curry balloon to the left string using Stampin' Dimensionals (see the pictures for placement).
  5. Tie a 4" piece of Basic Black 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon into a single knot, and attach it to where the strings intersect each other using a Mini Glue Dot.
  6. Attach a small Mint Macaron dot from the It's My Party Enamel Dots to the top, left corner of the Whisper White layer. Attach a small Melon Mambo dot under it, and a small Crushed Curry dot under that.

What I Love Yellow Flower Card

I have another Sale-A-Bration card for you. This one features the Sale-A-Bration products, What I Love Stamp Set and the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack. I CASEd this card from one that Patty Bennett made. She used the smaller Whisper White Notecards, and mine is the regular card size made with Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I did change mine up a little bit, as you can see, but not a lot.

There are only a little over 6 days left of Sale-A-Bration!

  1. Fold one 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Open the card before stamping the flowers. It's better to stamp with one layer of cardstock on the table. Ink up the biggest bold flower stamp  from the What I Love Stamp Set with the Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp onto a scrap piece of paper, and then onto the right side of the card (stamp-off technique). Do the same two more times to make places for three flowers (see pictures for placement). Stamp the small bold flower stamp onto the center of the first flower layer using the same ink pad (without stamping-off). Do the same with the other two. Stamp the outline flower stamp on top of all three using the Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad. Then, stamp the double-leaf stamp twice onto each flower using the Cucumber Crush Classic Stampin' Pad. Fold the card again.
  2. Attach a 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Botanical Gardens Designer Series Vellum onto a 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Cucumber Crush Cardstock. Only put adhesive on the back of the top, bottom and right side of the vellum. I made the mistake of putting a strip on the left side, and it shows up too much. :)
  3. Wrap a 7" piece of Cucumber Crush 1" Dotted Lace Trim around the right side of the Cucumber Crush/Vellum piece, and attach the trim ends to the back. Attach the whole piece to the left side of the card, along the fold. Tie a 5" piece of the same lace trim onto the top of the attached lace trim with a single knot. Trim the ends of the tied lace trim at an angle.
  4. Stamp the "a happy hello" stamp from the Tin of Cards Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Cucumber Crush Classic Stampin' Pad. Punch the greeting out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. Punch out a circle from a scrap piece of Cucumber Crush Cardstock using the 2" Circle Punch. Attach the greeting circle to the top of the Cucumber Crush circle, and then attach it all to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (see pictures for placement).

CPC Tea-riffic Treats

Today's Craft Project Central project is designed by Regina Andari.

The projects in this tutorial are simple enough for new stampers, and the treats themselves will make anyone feel “tea-riffic”!  Whether you need just a pretty card (adorned with charms, of course) or an ensemble of treats, this might be the perfect project!  Create a package to hold an assortment of tea bags, a tea cup-shaped bookmark, and a box of cookies shaped like tea bags.  This ensemble wouldn’t be complete with a note card, and the tutorial even includes a pretty way to prevent the string from a tea bag from falling into a cup!

If you would like to see the complete project, and learn how to make it, you'll want to subscribe for the month of March. With your subscription, you'll get illustrated, step-by-step instructions for 10 wonderful projects for only $10! You can find out how to gain access to a bonus eleventh project over at Craft Project Central.

Botanicals for You Z-Fold Card

Today's Sale-A-Bration (SAB) card features two SAB items -  Botanicals for You Stamp Set and Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP). I CASEd this card from one I saw on Pinterest, but the person that made it wasn't listed in the post. :( I added more flowers than the original, but that is about it.

There are only 8 days left of Sale-A-Bration!

  1. Cut one 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock. With an 8-1/2" side along the top of the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4". Fold the first score line back (mountain fold), and score the second score line up (valley fold).
  2. Attach a 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" piece of Blackberry Bliss/multi-color floral paper from the Wildflower Fields DSP to the far left 2-1/8" wide panel.
  3. Stamp the largest flower stamp from the Flowering Fields Stamp Set in both right corners of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the medium-sized flower on the top and bottom of the piece with the Hello Honey Classic Stampin' Pad, and stamp the smallest flower stamp on the top a bottom of the right side with the Calypso Coral Classic Stampin'' Pad. Stamp a branch stamp two times in each flower group using the Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad (see picture above for placement). Stamp the greeting stamp across the middle of the piece using the Blackberry ink pad. Attach the piece to the large, right section.
  4. Stamp the "Just for You" stamp onto the center of a 4" x 4-3/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Die-cut the words out with the largest, plain oval die in the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies. Stamp the flowers and branches onto the left side of the oval, using the same colors as used on the piece in Step 3 (see pictures for placement).
  5. Cover the back of the left half of the oval with SNAIL Adhesive. With the card closed, attach the left half of the oval to the DSP panel of the card.

Flowering Fields 3-Panel Card

Yes, I'm still here! lol I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to post any of my own creations here lately. I was sick for about a week a few weeks ago, and I've been playing catch-up ever since. I do want to let you know that no one posted a comment on my Craft Project Central (CPC) post on the Craft Project Central site, so I was not able to giveaway a free CPC subscription. I'll try again next month.

The cards I'll be posting these next few days were made at my Last Chance Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp a couple weeks ago.

It's hard to believe, but there are only 9 days left of Sale-A-Bration!

These last 3 months have gone so fast!

Today's card features the beautiful, and popular, Flowering Fields Stamp Set. The flowers in this set are so pretty! I CASEd this card from one that Bonnie Allers-O'Neill made.

Card Instructions:
  1. Fold an 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock in half to form the card base.
  2. Stamp the "my amazing mother" stamp from the Greatest Greetings Stamp Set onto the top, right corner of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad.
  3. Wrap a 7" piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8" Stitched Ribbon around the top of the Whisper White layer, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the layer. The ribbon should be just under the greeting. Tie a 5" piece of the same ribbon to the left side of the attached ribbon using a single knot. Attach the layer to the front of the card base.
  4. Stamp the flower stamps (see card to see the flower stamps used) from the Flowering Fields Stamp Set across a 4-1/2" x 3" piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Basic Black Archival Pad. Watercolor the flowers using a Blender Pen and the following Classic Stampin' Pads:  Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow, Watermelon Wonder, and Delightful Dijon.
  5. With the 4-1/2" side along the top of the Stampin' Trimmer, line the left side of the piece at the 1-1/2" mark, and cut. Slide the rest of the piece over, and line the left side with the 1-1/2" mark again, and cut. This will make three 1-1/2" x 3" panels. You will cut through some of the flowers, which is what is supposed to happen. Sponge the edges of the panels using a Stamping Sponge and the Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad.
  6. Attach the three-panels across the bottom of the card (see picture for placement) using Stampin' Dimensionals.
If you qualify for a Sale-A-Bration item, you redeem them after adding your items to the shopping bag. Once all of your items are entered, look at the Special Offers box under the items list on the left. Click on the "Click Here" where it says "Congratulations!
